Basement Foundations
The core of what we do. We set steel forms, place rebar to spec, and pour. When the forms come off, you have a plumb, watertight basement wall ready for your framing crew.
Central Alabama • Foundation Specialist
Higher-quality poured concrete foundation walls for new home builders across central Alabama. One crew, one specialty, thirty-five years.
Curtis Jackson has been setting forms and pouring walls since the early 1990s. One specialty, thirty-five years, thousands of homes from Tuscaloosa to Lake Martin.
We do one thing: poured concrete walls. It's a better foundation than block — no joints to leak, no mortar to fail, structurally monolithic from footing to top of wall. Every job is custom-formed and poured on site.
The core of what we do. We set steel forms, place rebar to spec, and pour. When the forms come off, you have a plumb, watertight basement wall ready for your framing crew.
Poured crawlspace walls give you the same waterproof, monolithic construction as a full basement without the full excavation. Clean lines, no block joints, no callbacks from moisture two years later.
We've poured retaining walls on flat lots and severe grades across central Alabama. Poured concrete holds where block gives way over time.
Sloped lots need walls that handle grade changes on multiple sides. We form and pour walkout configurations — daylight walls, step-down footings, openings for doors and windows — built to your plans.
Some of the most demanding terrain in central Alabama is along Lake Martin and the ridge country east of Birmingham. Complex grades, tight access, sensitive shorelines — the work requires experience you can't fake.
We cover a wide territory across central Alabama, with Pelham as our base. That means Birmingham metro and all of Shelby County, west to Tuscaloosa, east to the Lake Martin shoreline, and south through Chilton County to the outskirts of Montgomery.
If you're building in this region and need a poured wall sub who knows the terrain and shows up when scheduled, get in touch. We've worked the red clay and the ridge country and the lakefront lots. We know what the soil does and how to pour for it.
Pelham, AL — Home base. Serving central Alabama since the early 1990s.
Curtis Jackson has been setting forms and pouring walls since the early 1990s. He founded Alabama Poured Walls in 2006 to do the work the way it should be done: one crew, one specialty, and higher-quality poured concrete foundations that builders can count on.
Thirty-five years of poured walls means he's seen what holds and what fails. Alabama Poured Walls stopped doing block work long ago because poured concrete is simply better — stronger under lateral load, waterproof where block is only water-resistant, and finished faster. Every foundation the crew pours is formed with steel, reinforced with rebar, and inspected before the truck backs up. When the forms come off, the job is done right.
The business is family-run and has stayed that way. That's not a marketing line; it's just how it works. You call, you get Curtis. The same builders come back year after year because the work comes in on schedule and the walls don't leak.
The territory tells the story: lakefront homes on Lake Martin, custom builds in the Shelby County suburbs, rural properties in Chilton and Talladega counties where a poured foundation on a sloped lot takes real experience to form right. Twenty years as Alabama Poured Walls, thirty-five years of setting forms, and a reputation for doing the work right the first time.
Tell us about the project. Include the city, foundation type, and any notes about the lot or timeline. We reply the same business day.
If you're a builder with a pour already on the calendar, skip the form. Call Curtis directly.
